In the Weeds: An Inside Look at How + Where Our Products Are Made

Ever wondered how Mini Soda is made? In this blog, we’re giving you a first-hand look at how our small but mighty team works to craft this really good pop! We’re very proud of our thoughtful approach and take what goes into each can we produce very seriously. With so many products available and a fairly unregulated checks and balances system in the market right now, we strive to be the highest quality producer in the state.

If you’re wondering what this means for you, we’re getting there! This means that each can you purchase includes locally grown ingredients from well-vetted partners and supports small businesses, allowing you to celebrate all of life’s moments with one of the best (and safest) products in the industry. From greenhouse to shelf, all cannabinoids used in Mini Soda are Minnesota-grown by various local, licensed hemp producers. Our buds at Northern Diversified manufacture the cannabinoid water-dispersible emulsion that we use to provide you with the perfect buzz every time. We use all-natural cane sugar in our products, delivering a less processed, better-for-you sweetener that is sourced from a free-trade distributor.

Now, let’s take a look at our process. We have 5 Craftmaster Stainless unitanks in a variety of capacities that feed a 4-head Wild Goose canning line with an inline labeler. First, we fill the tanks with the necessary amount of filtered water.  We then add the appropriate ingredients and cool down the mixture. When sufficiently chilled, we carbonated the mixture for at least 48 hours before canning and labeling. This is carefully manned by a two-man crew in the small town of Morgan, Minnesota. Ever heard of it? We didn’t think so.

But enough with that technical stuff. What we came here to say today is that Mini Soda and Crested River is not a fly-by-night company trying to profit from the whirlwind popularity of cannabis-infused beverages. We have been and will continue to be a cannabis-exclusive enterprise, ensuring the plant is respected and properly utilized by bringing high-quality, effective products to consumers. We invite you to learn more about us by visiting our website, minisoda.cc.
